Question: At the top of page 3, Tom refers to one (perhaps two) entries in the Federalist papers that explain executive powers. Which #s are those papers?
Thought experiment: The idea of a ‘Spirit of the age’ intrigues me. I wonder what the spirit of today would look like? And what would the leaders of this spirit-age look like? Would the spirit look like the child of divorced parents, whose hate for each other has driven them to spoil the child and use it against the other parent? Would the leaders of today’s Spirit-age also know nothing about ‘the real world’ but entirely too much about excess and manipulation?
